Where to dance in Chiang Mai

Bubbles at the Porn Ping Tower, near the Night Bazaar is a great place to go dancing. I went there on Friday with a group of friends, some new, some old ( haha), some here long term, some short term and some not sure if they are coming or going… A melting pot of people and lifestyles. Just the way I like it. And we danced, oh yes we danced to a variety of DJs mixing hiphop, trance and dance music. Thanx guys it was a GREAT night out.

I remember my first week in Chiang Mai driving by this high building reading Porn Ping Tower and thought that the sex industry was pretty bad in this place. Only later I found out that Porn was phonetic for Blessing in Thai. Since then I had many “porn incounters” Or shall I say blessings…. Even my Co workers Thai name starts with Porn. Phonetics in Thailand causes alot of discussions.
