Lowden Guitar- broken

Even instuments get older and the older they get, the more likely they
are to break. Look what happend to my husbands Lowden ! The bridge came
off… Why? No idea.
Lowden Guitars originally come from Irland, hand made by Mr. George
personally. Mr. Ph bought this guitar 18 years ago, in Irland. Believe me,
this guitar has the most beautiful sound EVER. I hope he can fix it
himself. The thing is, it’s not as easy as it looks and needs to be
done with alot of care.
I’d still like my own guitar. I’m going to try out an electric one and
see how I like that, but there is something about accustic guitars
which appeal to me. We’ll see. For now I’ll be playing my friends
guitar… no money to buy one anyway…

  1. Do you think the climate could have anything to do with it? I wouldn’t want to imagine the type of effect a steamy climate could have on a wooden instrument.
