Buying Soft Contact Lenses in Chiang Mai

I’ve switched from hard contacts to soft ones. I bought Bausch&Lomb Soflens at Tokyo Optical C.,LTD which has a shop in Airport Plaza, Chiang Mai. Two boxes which will last me 6 months cost Baht 3180. Yesterday, after wearing them for 6 days, the lenses felt so uncomfortable that I wondered if I was wearing them inside out. How would I know the difference? Here is what learnt on this webpage…

My contact lenses also have a laser marking and if I can read it properly the lens is not inside out. Apparently you don’t have to worry if you place a contact lens in your eye inside out. The lens will feel uncomfortable, but it can’t do any damage, which is good to know !
Putting the contact lens in is easy but removing it.. gosh I thought that was soo hard. Luckily the people at the shop were very helpful and didn’t get impatient with me. So this is how you remove the soft contact lens after washing your hands of-course!…
To remove soft contact lenses, look upward or sideways while you pull down on your lower eyelid. With a finger, gently maneuver the lens onto the white of your eye. There, you can very gently pinch the lens together with your index finger and thumb and lift it off the eye. Until you master contact lens removal, you might consider keeping your fingernails clipped to avoid accidentally scratching and damaging your eye.”
