Memories of boarding school

Orobiga Ironic

When I’m hurting I’m told
it doesn’t matter
When I’m sick
No one cares
When I’m locked into my room
No one cares
When the boys come and read my journal
No one cares
When I fight with my roommate and don’t talk for days
No one cares

When I’m lonely
No one knows.

My friend is anorexic
No one knows
One brother can’t walk and has been sick in bed for days
No one cares
The other one was in hospital with a concussion
No one told me
He then kissed a girl up at the gate
Everyone cares

And everyone knows
